The World Finance Forum WFF

The World Finance Forum (WFF) focuses on new ideas, new trends, new practices and new dynamics of global financial governance, covering hot topics such as new world financial order, climate change, green finance, the fourth industrial revolution, the Belt & Road Initiative, digital economy and digital currency. We organize regular seminars and forums, inviting the world's most authoritative and established professionals to make profound analysis, interpretation and prediction on key issues regarding the world financial reform and development.

The 1^st and 2^nd World Finance Forum, jointly hosted by the Center for BRICS and Global Governance (CBGG) and Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee, were successfully held in Beijing in June 2018 and April 2019 respectively. The 3^rd World Finance Forum was well received in Wuhan in December 2020 and the 4^th one, jointly sponsored by WFF and Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, was successfully run in Xi’an in May 2021.

The research reports developed by WFF and CBGG experts on topics such as the Belt and Road Initiative, RMB internationalization, digital currency, cross-border payment, consumer finance, and the convergence of rules in Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and the Great Bay Area have been well received and noted by national and provincial policy makers in China in recent years.

The WFF, as a high-level dialogue and view-exchange platform in the economic and financial area among senior government officials, industry leaders and established academics both home and abroad , is striving to become a world-class international organization with global influence.
