Wang Zhongmin: “6” Is an Important Rising Node in Development of the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

      On April 22, 2019, the Second World Finance Forum and the “Belt and Road” Cooperation Beijing Forum co-hosted by the Center for BRICS and Global Governance (CBGG) , the World Finance Forum (WFF) and the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee (RBWC) was successfully held in Beijing. Wang Zhongmin, the Chinese chairman of the CBGG Academic Committee and former vice chairman of the National Social Security Fund Council, participated in the forum and made a keynote speech. 

      Wang Zhongmin said that this year is the sixth anniversary of the “Belt and Road” initiative. If we look at the “Belt and Road” initiative in terms of time, it is exactly “6” which is an important rising node in development. We Chinese generally think that it is going upwards from 3, 6, 9. When “9” is reached, it is necessary to go from a closed loop to another closed loop and re-innovate, and “6” is a continuous rise to “9”. And compared with “3”, “6” has better dimensions, breadth, and depth than “3”, and “1” is just its starting point. If we look at the logic of the digital concept of this meaning and the growth curve of the time dimension, the sublimation and promotion from “1” to “3” is the further sublimation of each others’ production factors based on the layout and based on the production scene; the improvement from “3” to “6” is the consistency, effectiveness, and interoperability of the system, service, and financial ends. The real infrastructure at this stage of “6” can only be achieved if there is a balanced, effective docking and extension of the institutional models on the server and financial sides. If all of these exist, we can rise to the common infrastructure of the service end and the system end of the community for mankind based on this stage of “6”, which is what we look like the most worthy of developing and owning.
