World Finance Forum Chief Advisor Zhu Guangyao and Delegation Visit New Development Bank Headquarters

On the afternoon of February 18, Zhu Guangyao, Chief Advisor of the World Finance Forum and CBGG and former Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Finance, led a delegation to visit the New Development Bank (NDB) headquarters in Shanghai. The delegation held meetings and exchanged views with Zhou Qiangwu, Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the NDB, and Jin Zhongxia, Director of the Financing and Capital Operations Department of the NDB. Additionally, they engaged in academic discussions with nearly thirty NDB employees from BRICS and other countries and regions on hot topics in the international financial market, such as “trade protectionism, global supply chain adjustments, and their impact on financial markets.”
The delegation also included Marc Uzan, Executive Director of the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee (an international partner of the World Finance Forum and CBGG); Andreas Dombret, Guest Member of the World Finance Forum, Global Senior Advisor of Oliver Wyman, and former Executive Board Member of the Deutsche Bundesbank; and Feng Xingke, Secretary-General of the World Finance Forum and Director of CBGG, among others, who participated in the visit and discussions.
